NASCAR is a hugely popular professional sports franchise that revolves around auto racing. Stars like Dale Earnhardt and Danica Patrick have achieved national fame because of their success racing cars. Based in Daytona Beach, Florida NASCAR is the most popular sporting franchise after the NFL, and the races are broadcast in over 150 countries.

Founded in 1936, the popularity of NASCAR has steadily grown over the years. Many Fortune 500 companies sponsor NASCAR racers, increasing the visibility of the cars. This has led to NASCAR racers sporting colorful car wraps, which has become a trademark of NASCAR. Below are listed some of the coolest car wraps in NASCAR.

Kyle Busch’s M&M Car Wrap

Kyle Busch is a twenty-eight year old NASCAR driver who has been notably successful, setting several NASCAR records. One of his recent sponsors was the giant candy brand M&M’s, owned by Mars Snackfood US. As a result of the sponsorship, the colors and fun qualities of the product lent itself well to creating a very cool and colorful car wrap for Kyle Busch.

The end result is a car that looks like it could be in a Disney movie, and literally could be part of an animated movie.

Matt Kenseth’s Dollar General Racing Toyota

Matt Kenseth is another professional race car driver. He is forty-years old and is a veteran of the racing circuit, and has earned millions of dollars over his lengthy career. His sponsor has been Dollar General, and they have had a successful partnership, where in 2013 Dollar General increased the number of races they would sponsor Matt Kenseth.

The resulting car wrap is bright yellow and immediately identifiable with the Dollar General logo. Unlike the Kyle Busch M&M wrap, the Matt Kenseth Dollar General wrap is sleeker, but still sporting the bright yellow signature color.

American Flag Wrap For Kyle Busch

Another very cool and memorable car wrap Kyle Busch has had is the American flag wrap. Kyle Busch is obviously a patriotic and proud American, and there is no bolder way to say that than to sport the design of the American flag on a car wrap.

He is doing so, without any sponsorship logos, in honor of the people who died during September 11, 2001. This is the type of car wrap that people won’t easily forget after seeing it.

Dale Earnhardt Jr’s Orange Car Wrap

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is the son of the legendary Dale Earnhardt Sr., who tragically died in a racing accident. Dale Earnhardt Jr. has gone on to become a NASCAR star in his own right, and has amassed a staggering net worth of 300 million dollars through his racing exploits.

He is currently one of the most popular and well-known of the NASCAR racers, so his vehicle is a coveted one for advertisers. One of his main sponsors is Amp Energy Drink. Like Dollar General, No. 88 Amp Energy Drink has a trademark color, which is a blazing orange color that was utilized in the car wrap. The result is a striking black and orange car wrap that looks like it was made to be raced at blazing speeds.

One of the fun parts of watching NASCAR races are the vivid and colorful car wraps that are used on the cars. They are mostly used to advertise for the all-important sponsors, but they can also be used to make statements or tributes, like the one Kyle Busch did for the people who died during the 9/11 tragedy.

Every season, new car wraps are used, so next year even more designs will be introduced during the races. The process surprisingly usually only takes a couple of hours to complete, and then the cars are ready to be raced.
